David C. Irelan, AIA, LEED AP is the founding Principal of Irelan Architecture with 20 years experience as a licensed Architect and a 1984 graduate from The Ohio State University. David worked with Altevers Associates, an Architecture, Planning and Interior Design firm specializing in the design of Resort Golf / Country Club Clubhouses, Spas, Fitness Centers, Resort Hotels, Specialty Retail Centers and Residences in California, Nevada, Texas, Asia and Mexico for 15 years, where he was named Principal in 2004. Other prior experience includes working as a Project Architect / designer at Don Edson Architects, an award winning custom residential architect in Rancho Sante Fe, Del Mar and La Jolla, in addition to working with Douglas Whitmore Architects as a construction defects expert witness project manager.
